People usually see getting published as a success,

but not many talk about the emotional up-and-down journey it takes to get there. Honestly, that part makes for a pretty good story too.

This short comic contains 69 panels; it documents the journey from how I finished my first comic book to how I submitted it to agents to how I met the right publisher...

I’m sharing it also to help other aspiring comic artists out there—especially anyone dreaming of seeing their own comic book out in the world one day.
